VI/VIR-Series 0.001g Precision Balances
The all new VI/VIR-Series have been completely re-designed and re-engineered for better performance and durability, further enhancing the most cost effective and versatile balance family available. New looks, new features and new models bring even more value to these very popular balances.

We have upgraded to faster microprocessor speeds and enhanced digital filtration to provide extraordinary performance and stability in even the most compromising environments. Sensors are now robotically manufactured for uniformity and greater durability and are computer optimized for maximum performance, higher output and better repeatability and linearity with minimum material stress. Each sensor operates at ultra-high efficiency by being individually configured and custom matched with its processor during assembly. The completely re-designed and strengthened VI-Series housing is constructed of a durable ABS material to provide years of protection for sensitive internal parts.

All this and the VI/VIR-Series are still priced right! Acculab is once again first at new ground breaking lower price points for 0.001g performance. These all new models combine advanced processing electronics and cost effective strain gauge technology to once again give you more for your money.

All VI-Series balances are available with an optional DB-9, bi-directional RS-232 serial computer/printer interface. Just specify your model selection as a VIR instead of a VI, and you get the RS-232 interface, leveling feet, and a bubble level installed.

Standard features include:

 
  • At start up, the unit will default to the last weighing mode used allowing one time set up and hassle free operation.
  • Easy external calibration; weights included with many models.
  • Memory feature allows for consecutive weighing of multiple samples with totalled results displayed.
  • Easy to use parts counting program (except 1mg models).
  • Large LCD with low battery, overload, underload, stability and mode indicators.
  • Membrane keypads are raised for tactile feel and include an audio tone to signal function.
  • Large removable stainless steel platforms (stainless and glass draft shield included with 1mg models).
  • AC adapter and built-in lockdown bracket included on all models (cable lock sold separately).
  • 9V Alkaline battery operation (except VI-1mg, VI-3mg, VI-350).
  • Easy to clean housing is specially designed to keep spills out of internal mechanism and away from the sealed keypad.
