P Series
Analytical Balances
Analytical balances with capacities from 110g to 310g
offer a 9.5” high (241mm) weighing chamber with easy-access top and
side sliding
doors.
P-Series Toploading Balances
Toploading balances with capacities from 200g to 8kg are perfect for
a variety of weighing applications.
Large,
Powerful Display.
The P-Series balances feature an extra-large, back-lit display that
has 0.7” high numerals. Choose two weigh units to display
simultaneously. The display also shows time and date as well as
current status of the balance.
Easy
Navigation.
Changing the operating parameters of the balance is simple. Once you
enter the menu, the current settings are listed on the screen. Using
the navigational arrows, simply highlight the desired change and
press enter.

Calibration
is a snap.
All P-Series models feature automatic calibration. Simply add the
appropriate weight standard to the balance and press the
calibration key. The balance will automatically recognize the
weight value and perform calibration instantly. Dynamic Fine Range.
Allows you to tare along the entire weighing spectrum and measure
with the highest readability of the balance. Available in three
dual-range models, featuring increased precision at higher
capacities.
Multiple Weigh Modes. Choose from 16 weigh units including
grams, milligrams, kilograms, ounces, troy ounces, pound, grain,
pennyweight and carat. Define a custom unit by using a
multiplication factor.
Parts Counting. When high-precision piece counting is a must,
the versatile P-Series are ideal for use in inventory control
applications.
Animal Weighing. For maximum accuracy, these balances can be
programmed to average readings over a set period of time – ideal
for weighing lab animals or for work in unstable environments.
Built-in Statistics. Store up to 250 points in the data log.
At the touch of a key, calculate and print statistical functions
such as sample averaging and standard deviation.
RS-232 and USB port. With either your RS-232 or USB port you
can print data to a computer or printer. The bi-directional RS-232
port also allows commands to be sent remotely to your balance.
Adjustable serial settings assure that this balance fits in to any
established QC environment.
Meets ISO/GLP Requirements. Select either the RS232 or USB
port to transmit data to a computer or printer for permanent
records. Store up to 9 user names. Add alphanumeric batch
identification and sample number.
Programmable Environmental Settings. Adjust
environmental
settings to meet your conditions. Choose a larger filter setting for
production environments and a smaller filter setting for laboratory
conditions.
Sturdy Construction. P-Series balances have a rugged die-cast
aluminum base that supports a durable stain-less- steel weighing
pan. Other features include easy-to- see leveling bubble, chemically
resistant keypad sealed for protection against spills and a
weigh-below port (requires optional weigh-below device).
P-Series Balances offer the latest advances in weighing technology
with a superior interface.
