The standard truck scale weighbridge is made up of a 6” concrete deck structure, supported by massive I-beams and cross member supports.  The weighbridge structure is designed to be utilized in a “deep pit” which prevents most difficulties with debris build up under the scale weighbridge. 

On heavy duty units (high point load applications) an optional 8” thick deck plan can be provided.  Weighbridge comes with a 5-year warranty, load cells are warranted for 2-years.

Quality design is only one step in providing superior product.  “FEPN” truck scale weighbridges are custom built by our union welders and fabricators.  Some of our personnel have over 20+ years experience with truck scale weighbridge construction, and each “FEPN” fabrication is checked and double checked by our fabrication team.  All this experience means that specials for others are just part of standard operations for us.

LOAD CELL INFORMATION – Our stainless steel, 60,000 lb-capacity cells are hermetically sealed to IP68 moisture protection standards, including redundant cable entry protection, arc welded gauge cavities and gas purging.  These load cells feature matched outputs and built-in surge protection.  Wear and tear on the load cells is reduced through a unique rocker motion that uses the spherical tops and bottoms of the load cell to automatically return the cell to its upright and centered position.  This rocker design is an ideal way to transmit force to a load cell.  No complex or potentially binding mechanisms are needed around the load cell mounting area – simple bumper assemblies suffice.

JUNCTION BOXES - Junction boxes and load cells are sealed from the environment, and can be isolated from lightning with optional protective devices for those areas that need them.  All load cell cable is routed through conduit to a single junction box in scales up to 70ft long.

LOAD CELL PROTECTION - With side access load cells in the “FEPN” design, the load cells and mounts are protected in application sites that may need to have debris, or snow and ice removed.  The top surface is flat and there are no top access plates to be damaged or destroyed.  Top access to the load cells is an option on the “FEPN” products.  Consult factory for details.

WARRANTY - Is 5-years on the weighbridge and 2-years on the load cells and mounts.
